Club Fitting

A critical component of playing good golf is ensuring that your equipment is perfectly fitted to your physique and golf swing.

There are two main categories to Club fitting

STATIC FITTING

This is where we measure your clubs requirements from a stationary position. This helps us create a general idea on what,

  • Club length
  • Lie angle estimate
  • Grip size

Static fitting is great for beginners as we organize clubs which can be adjusted later when your swing evolves

DYNAMIC FITTING

This is where we measure your clubs by your natural golf swing through hitting golf balls and measurements recorded by your impact position and ball flight.

Areas covered for a properly fitted clubs are,

  • Club Length
  • Club Shafts
  • Club Lie Angle
  • Club Design
  • Club Weight
  • Grip Size
  • Grip Style

Dynamic fitting is great for golfers who are comfortable with their game and want clubs fitted to their swing.

Note: poor golf shots can be from golf swings which are compensating from poorly fitted clubs, where the golf club causes the bad shot. eg: a slice shot can be caused by the clubs length too short or lie angle too flat.
