In what was some closely contested affairs we saw the ever-consistent Ray Sizer claim the win in A Grade with +3 on a count back to runner up Edward Murdoch. B Grade was another tight tussle with Neville Lavis taking out the win with +4 on a count back to runner up Gary Berry. Ball placegetters required +1 or better for a prize while the nearest to pin on hole 12 went to Matthew Brannelly with 81cms.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>On Wednesday 54 women graced the fairways for the Stellar Coffee Stableford competition. In A Grade Julie Harris claimed a well-deserved win with 38 points from runner up Vivien Harding with 37 points. B Grade saw some continuing good form from Adele Ormsby with a 42 point win from runner up Karla Ridd with 40 points on a count back to Karen Hall. In C Grade we saw a tight battle with Wendy Davies taking the win with 39 points on a count back to runner up Terri Edwards. Ball placegetters required 37 points on a countback for a prize while in the nearest to pins Di Davies claimed hole 2 A Grade Pro Pin, B Grade Pro Pin jackpots to next week, hole 12 went to Julie Cobbledick and hole 17 went to Adele Ormsby. In the women\u2019s 9-hole Stableford competition the win went to June Simpson with 18 points on a count back to runner up Gayle Steers.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Thursday saw a big group of 124 players venture out in the days Stableford Medley competition. In A Grade the win went to Damian Drum with 38 points from runner up Daniel Adem with 38 points on a count back to Dylan Moncur and Tim James. B Grade saw a top of the table win go to Mark Doyle with 40 points from runner up Ed Flanagan with 39 points. C Grade win was taken out by Owen Kelly with 37 points from runner up Lachlan Findlay with 36 points on a count back to Brendan Ryan. Ball placegetters required 35 points on a count back or better for a prize while the nearest to pin on hole 12 went to Ken Baxter also taking with it the A Grade Pro Pin with 103cms, B Grade Pro Pin went to Michael Shiels with 1040cms, C Grade Pro Pin jackpotted to the following week and hole 17 went to Murray Yuille with 465cms.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Friday<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Friday saw 39 women take to the tees in their 9-hole Stableford competition with a very close result for the win going to Margaret Oldfield with 18 points on a count back to runner up Maureen Dickson and Viv Jeffery.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Saturday<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Saturday saw 146 players take to the course in the Power N Play Par competition. In the women\u2019s competition Sally Nayler put together a tidy round with a +1 win over runner up Yeongseon \u201cSonny\u201d Jo with 0 on a count back to Evelyn Hunt. A Grade men\u2019s saw the good win go to David Barker with +4 from runner up John Lyle with +2. B Grade saw a close contest with Aaron Cuthbert securing the win with +4 on a countback to runner up Paul Trevaskis. In C Grade Callum Thompson claimed a top of the leader board win with +6 from runner up Kevin Monaghan with +3 on a count back to Diesel Batey and Samuel Mangiameli. Ball placegetters in the women competition required -2 on a count back or better for a prize while the men required 0 on a count back or better for their prizes. In the nearest to pin on hole 2 and also the A Grade Pro Pin Michael Dann was successful with 195cms, B Grade Pro Pin went to Matthew Brannelly with 764cms, C Grade Pro Pin was taken out by Marcia Walker with 629cms, Hole 5 went to Brendan Lott with 181cms, Nick McLean took out hole 12 with 245cms and hole 17 was claimed by Daniel Adem with 182cms.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Sunday<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Onto Sunday were 58 players teed off for the days Stableford Medley competition. In A Grade Steve Tonks took home a well-deserved win with 36 points from runner up Finn Walters and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> placed Gary Blum with 34 points on a count back to Luke O\u2019Sullivan and Mark Georgiou. B Grade saw Talon Wilson top the scores with 40 points in his win over runner up Matthew Diramacca with 39 points and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> placed Brad Steel with 37 points on a count back to Samuel Mangiameli and Luke Rimato. Ball placings required 33 points on a count back or better to claim a prize. Sunday also saw the finals of the men\u2019s GMCU Shepparton Four Ball and the women\u2019s McKeon 4BBB. In the GMCU Geoff O\u2019Sullivan &amp; Lewis O\u2019Sullivan prevailed in a tight game to secure the win on the 19<sup>th<\/sup> over the team of Leigh Findlay &amp; Phil Priestly. In the McKeon 4BBB Mandy Faram &amp; Suzy Phillips-Limon claimed victory with a 7\/5 win over the team of Julie Harris &amp; Angela McLeod. In the weekly 9-hole Stableford competition the win went to Wendy Baxter with 20 points from runner up Julie Thompson with 19 points on a count back to Diesel Batey.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Upcoming Events<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>So, to the week ahead Wednesday the women hit off in a Foursomes competition, Thursday sees a Stableford Medley competition, Friday the women play the 9 hole Stableford competition in the brisk morning, Anzac Day Saturday sees a Shotgun Start Ambrose competition in the afternoon, Sunday we have a Stableford Medley competition and of course we have our weekly 9 hole Stableford competition.
