The 2023 AFL Season is upon us and is due to begin with the first round next Thursday night. Once again the club will be running a footy tipping competition for our members to participate in this year! This year we will once again be using physical cards and we are looking forward each week to seeing you all at the club and taking the chance to catch up with fellow members and enjoy your time with us at the club.
As a special thank you to our tipsters, each week prior to the first match the club will be holding a Footy Tipping Happy Hour with $4 pots available to members entered in the competition the night of the first match from 5-7 pm. As always tips will have to be entered 10 minutes before the first bounce where submission of tips will be closed. For members who may not be able to make it to the club, there will be a weekly link sent to enter your tips.
Prizes and rewards this season will include:
- Weekly Draw for a 6-pack of Furphy Beer Sponsored by Furphy drawn 6:00pm before the first game (must be present to win).
- Footy Tipping Happy Hour from 5-7 pm the night of the first match with $4 pots available to everyone entered in the competition.
- Nibbles and great company available each week.
- Weekly Prize for the best tipper of the round.
- Overall prize for the winner, runner-up and third place of the competition.
- First Half of the season competition with prizes for the winner and runner-up (Week 1-12)
- Last Half of the season competition with prizes for the winner and runner-up (Week 13-24)
